Cold

So cold, not freezing and not slightly chilled but... trulely cold. through the feather down jacket I wear and through my skin, past the bone and into the soul. No warmth from the fire at an arm's length away, no comfort from the bodies around me. What can ease my plight? 'Cept for the lover's arm half a world away? Never shall I cease the travel I make on foot, and never shall I stop while my heart goes on beating
